The pool has 3 potluck picnics during the season: Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day. There is also an adults-only party at the pool, held this summer on Saturday, July 17th.
Labor Day Picnic is ON — Volunteers Still Welcomed
We have enough volunteers to hold our annual Labor Day picnic on Monday, September 6 but would welcome more volunteers to manage the sides, desserts, and drinks tables during the picnic and clean up. Sign up at the pool or contact the board’s social chair, Judy Butler, directly by email at butler.lucas@verizon.net or at home 301-320-3975.
The club will provide the burgers (including veggie burgers), hot dogs, and drinks. Families with last names A-F and Q-Z bring a side dish, salad, or fruit to serve eight. Families with last names G-P bring a dessert to serve eight. If you are bringing guests, please adjust your food contribution accordingly! (Side dishes are very popular and go quickly, so if you fall into the side dish category, please do not bring a dessert.) Please be *generous* with your food contributions.
Floats are allowed in the pool from noon to 1 p.m. Food will be served from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Adults will be served first.
