Our pool community has many needs, and we encourage all of our members to contribute their expertise, abilities, and time. At Handyperson Day we wash, paint, weed, prune, move and clean and move furniture. It’s also a day to enjoy some delicious doughnuts and coffee, pizzas at lunch, and to reconnect with our fellow LFSC members.

  • We have a list of jobs and tasks suitable for all activity and ability levels.
  • In return for your family’s total contribution of 3 hours of help, you will receive a refund of the $75 Handyman Fee you paid with your annual dues.
  • Does your family need juggle pool volunteering and soccer carpooling? No problem–we just ask for a total of 3 hours per family. Please be sure to sign in when you arrive and depart so that we can process your refund. 
  • Please bring work or dishwashing gloves with you. If you are hoping to help with the “green team,” please bring your favorite gardening tools.
  • Member helpers should be 12 or older, unless accompanied by a parent/guardian/chaperone who is 18 years or older.
  • Middle and High School students can earn Student Service Learning (SSL) credits for volunteering. We will have completed SSL forms available so no need to bring your own. If both a student and parent volunteer, the student can earn SSL hours and the parent can earn a refund.
